The American Patriots Rudimental Drummers Club (APRDC) is proud to host their Fifth Annual International Convention in Harrisburg, PA. All festivities will be centered at the Harrisburg Holday Inn Hotel & Conference Center
Hotel Reservations:
Accommodations will be booked directly with the Harrisburg Holday Inn Hotel & Conference Center. Room rate is $91.00 plus tax per night. To make your reservations for the Convention please call 1-888-865-9933 and ask for the APRDC BLOCK This will automatically get you the $91.00 plus tax per evening rate. This must be done prior to March 19, 2008.
Activities Registration:
Please complete and return the attached order form with a check or money order made out to “APRDC”. No Credit Cards can be accepted.
Identification tags will be included in your registration package. ID tags are to be worn when entering ALL of the activities. Tags will be made up in advance of your arrival. In order to fill out the tags accurately, we need full information on every attendee. Therefore, a separate Registration Form is required for each person attending. Two Registration Forms have been included to make registration by couples easier.
WEEKEND ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE AND COSTS:
Friday Night Mixer and I&E Competition and Massed Drumming – 7:00 to midnight:
This is a casual evening to greet old friends and make new ones. A casual drum “jam” will take place. Beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks will be provided. Other drinks will be cash bar. NEW FOR THIS YEAR! WE WILL HAVE A MASSED DRUMMING EVENT AT THE MIXER THIS YEAR. This will give more folks a chance to drum over the weekend with their friends and compatriots.
Saturday – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM:
Exhibitions by APRDC Chapters, Individuals, Ensembles and Massed Drumming. Vendors and demos. All activity must end by
4 PM. Beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks will be provided. Other drinks will be cash bar.
Saturday Evening – 6:30 PM to 7:30PM Cocktails (Cash Bar); 7:30 PM to 9:00PM Dinner, 9:00PM Awards and Massed Drumming.
Full Course dinner includes: appetizer, salad, entrée, dinner rolls and butter, dessert and iced tea with lemon and freshly brewed regular and decaffeinated coffee.
Sunday Morning Breakfast – 9:00 AM
Egg Croissant: Fluffy scrambled eggs over ham on a croissant with breakfast potatoes sautéed w/onions and peppers, orange juice, fruit accompaniment and freshly brewed regular and decaf coffee and tea.
Cost for entire weekend is $95.00 per person.
Friday Mixer and Saturday Afternoon only is $50.00 per person
Friday Mixer only is $30.00 per person
Saturday Afternoon Exhibitions only is $25.00 per person
Saturday Night Banquet only is $ 35.00 per person
NOTE: It is imperative that the “Identification Neck Tag” be worn at all times to gain entry to Friday mixer, Saturday afternoon exhibitions, Saturday evening Banquet and Sunday Breakfast. Tags will be checked at the door of each event.
